IRS Scam
February 21st, 2008 Posted in Scam AlertsNow the IRS owes us money! How fortunate considering we haven’t filed our taxes yet…
This is yet another scam that continues to flood our mail boxes. The link takes you to some cosmin.tutunaru.or website. That would be your first clue that this has nothing to do with an IRS refund. That and the fact that we know IRS doesn’t have our email address. I couldn’t get the link to the site to work but I imagine they would ask for your personal information – like SS#.
